Black Label Berkshire Pork has been recognised as some of Australia’s finest pork.

**Berkshire is the oldest registered pig breed, kept by the royal family at Windsor Castle for hundreds of years. The excellent carcass qualities made them a favourite breed for upper class farmers.  The pigs themselves are processed in small batches at an abattoir owned by Linton Batt’s  family in Corrigin to minimise stress and maximise meat quality. 

Research shows that Berkshire pork is genetically predisposed to producing the finest quality pork due to its shorter muscle fibres and lots of marbling, which contributes to both the flavour and the tenderness.  DNA and Gene testing has been completed to ensure a pure bloodline and perfect quality each time.

The pedigree have consistently won champion ribbons at Royal Shows around Australia**
